K. C. Sahu holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from Xavier Institute of Social Sciences (XISS) Ranchi. He has 20 years of experience in Developmental Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation, Networking & Advocacy, Training and Research.
He has worked with CASA (Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action) for nine years in various capacities. He has also worked in IGSSS as Regional Manager, Eastern region covering States like Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Sahu is presently heading the Livelihood Unit and is responsible for implementing Sustainable Options for Uplifting Livelihood (SOUL) Programme. The People’s Empowerment for Accessing Rights to Livelihood (PEARL) programme which got over in March 2013 paves the way forward for SOUL was also led by Sahu.
