Ekta Bartarya
State Coordinator – Maharashtra
Ekta Bartarya is a development professional committed to work to better the lives of women. She has over 16 years of experience and has worked on a variety of developmental issues like adult and alternate education, sustainable agriculture, community-based institution building, climate change and urban risk resilience, etc. She has done her masters in rural development from Lucknow University and worked with different grassroots level organisations in Uttar Pradesh. Later she served in the United Nations Development Program and supported Shimla Municipal Corporation for the initial inception and execution of their Urban Risk Management program.
Since 2012 she is based in Nagpur and currently is the state coordinator of the Maharashtra region, leading a diverse team and handling multiple projects.
