Ahmedabad: In continuum to the series of workshops held towards orienting the partners on the soon to be launched Urban Poverty programme ‘Samaveshi Seher’, IGSSS held a similar workshop with the partners from Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
The programme commenced with a discussion on the journey and evolution of the Urban Poverty programme. It was further shared that in the current phase, the focus would be on residential, occupational, social and housing rights. Discussion on the indicators of the ‘Samaveshi Seher’ programme was held. Few of the partners who already had previous experience of implementing urban poverty programmes shared their learnings.
Sessions on advocacy, result based monitoring and on Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) was conducted in a bid towards assisting the partners with smooth implementation of the programme. The partners presented the final budget and implementation plan facilitated by IGSSS team members.
