Dr Neelam Verma has done her Doctorate in Education from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. With over 12 years of experience, she has worked as an assistant professor and as a development professional in the education, livelihood, health, and life skill education space. She has worked with NGOs, corporates and in government consulting. Her strengths lie in program design and delivery, team building, evidence-based policy advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation.

She has a strong experience of managing end-to-end education programs both at the level of individual schools as well as large scale programs for the government with a strong portfolio. She also leads the team of young entrepreneurs in Piramal school of leadership, worked as an advisory for designing curriculum with DIET and Tata Trust in Uttar Pradesh. Currently, she is working in the capacity of State Coordinator – Uttar Pradesh and looks after the flagship projects of IGSSS.

She is fascinated by and constantly exploring the question- “How to equip individuals with the right knowledge, skills and mindset to transform themselves, and people and community around them”?
