Basab Bhattacharjee holds a master’s degree in Rural Development and Management from Kalyani University, West Bengal. He has over 10 years of working experience in the development sector on various themes like sustainable livelihood, drought resilience and health and nutrition. Currently, he is looking after the overall operations in Jharkhand in the capacity of State Coordinator that includes two flagship projects on IGSSS’s key thematic areas.
His proficiencies include all aspects of the programme planning and management, implementation and, monitoring and evaluation. He has ably contributed to relationship building with different government and non-government institutions and corporate houses, from block to state level. This has led him to a highly successful stint with IGSSS since 2016. His prior experiences include working with organizations like Reliance Foundation, Association for Sarva Seva Farms (ASSEFA), MUKTI and Lutheran World Service India.
