Initially the ERT had planned to provide relief materials to 11 villages which had been extensively surveyed, but due to extensive demand from the affected villagers along with a request made by the State District Administration, relief distribution was extended to four more villages — Devangan, Kedarnath, Narayankoti and Nala.
