Aid in the form of cash was distributed to 1445 families in Baramulla and Bandipora district in Kashmir. 290 flood affected families from Zalpora village in Baramulla district were given dignity kits and kitchen utensils as emergency humanitarian assistance.The severe floods have not only uprooted many families but also caused massive destruction to assets and sources of livelihood. The communities are struggling to even meet their basic needs. The cash and relief assistance is an emergency effort towards addressing the immediate need of the flood affected families.
