Recently, I made a video of an old couple who were struggling to meet their daily needs. They were ill and were in no position to afford medicines or treatment. I along with my few friends put up an appeal of support for them in the social media. The response was overwhelming. In only a week’s time, 70K was deposited to their account. It was a very inspiring experience.

Multi Stakeholder interface comprising representatives from Pattan Social Welfare Department, Legal Aid representatives and community members from Baramulla and Bandipora was organized under the P – Leaps intervention of IGSSS. The emphasis was to involve all stakeholders in building a situation of peace in the valley.
